Oak wilt disease infection centers are showing up throughout MI at an alarming rate, on all types of land-use sites.  Join ASM and technical experts from Arborjet as we evaluate two actual infection locations at residential sites in the Traverse City, Michigan area on August 21 and 22. Oak wilt biology, life cycle and infection pathways will be discussed. Management strategies appropriate for residential sites will be discussed and demonstrated including tree removals, root graft disruption by trenching and fungicide injections. ISA and MDARD CEU's available.

These Oak Wilt Treatment & Educational Demonstrations are grant projects funded by the Michigan Invasive Species Grant Program through the Michigan DNR.
